Typically nice Safeway but didn't have anything prepared in the deli for breakfast. Bit of a bummer.
I love Safeway's low lighting, much easier on the eyes. Friendly staff, clean atmosphere. My only problem was on my most recent visit, although it was a good cost deal on the bulk bin I got some mixed nuts/trail mix from, they are very stale... Wanted to take them back but wasn't sure one could on an item like that and so never bothered. Next time I'll just buy sealed bags/containers with the expiry date on them
It's ok. Expensive but best of the bigger grocery stores for meat. Butcher shop does a great job and has some decent sales every once in a while!
Always enjoy shopping here. Good clean and clear aisles. A little expensive. Only flaw. Very few manned cash registers open. Most times one register with a cashier otherwise it is self checkout. I do not like self checkout but often staff directs me to self checkout. I am disabled and put out of work due to my disability. If Safeway wishes me to work...they should give me incentive in the form of a discount to check myself out. That is my main reason Safeway is not used more regularly by me. I require assistance and they have directed me to self checkout against my wishes.
Excellent place. Well organized. Staffs are friendly. Well located. Clean. And great cafe and Starbucks on locations.
