animals are not treated properly here. they have lions and other animals that just live in cages and have no life otherwise. they also had 2 week old kittens in the petting zoo, which should not have happened. its very likely some of the kittens have died because being separated from their mother and being treated like toys. there are no conservatory aspects like most zoos, instead animals are just locked up here for the rest of their lives.
Loved this hidden gem just outside Lloydminster. Animals and facility were well taken care of. Friendly owners. We loved the atmosphere and all the types of animals to pet! The exotic animals were amazing to watch.
Take my 3 boys here every year and spend the whole afternoon. The owners are very friendly and love their animals, they are very well looked after. Love the wolf pups! Wonderful place for kids and adults alike!
Tiny, tiny enclosures, poor living conditions, miserable looking animals... Why this place is able to be operating is beyond me. I dont know how anyone can go look at these poor animals and not see how wrong this is. Animal abuse and exploitation at its finest. So sad. I deeply regret supporting this. I would give 0 stars if could.
It was so much fun! It was especially awesome that they had baby timberwolves that we could hold and pet. We got to feed the camel, rub bellies of baby pigs, pet the sheep and goats, and play with the dogs and cats roaming around. Super great time and I will definitely come back! The kids around us were having a lot of fun so it is definitely a family friendly place. Make sure you have cash as they don't accept any other form of payment. The staff there were super friendly and approachable.
