Room was some what clean, minus the nasty blood spots in the bathroom. Pool was fun. Staff just seemed cheap with towels. They advertise there is a Tony Roma's there, but apparently is has been gone for 8 months. But over all staff are friendly and beds were comfy.
It's been lightly updated, service was good.I didn't get to eat here as I arrived late and eat only there for a night.Bathroom was tidy if not a bit out of date but not unexpected. Was here on business so not looking for Vegas quality. Front desk staff were friendly and rooms were tidy.I try to stay at different places when I come to Lloyd.
Sorry about dingy looking pictures. Room is actually well lit for the size.Always a couple bottles of free water in the nicely sized fridge... for a hotel room.Garbage bags were missed, but nothing nasty in there, just a beer can and a couple cups. No biggie.Rooms are large for a budget hotel.Microwave is there as well as a fridge.There is a single serving coffee maker in the room, and they actually give you enough sugar and whitener and stuff for a couple cups, unlike some hotels.WiFi for me was extremely fast, while others said it was slow. I imagine it depends on how many users there are at any given time, like anywhere else.As of this stay, there are still smoking rooms available.which is getting less common.There was no shortage of towels as others suggested.I'm sure Housekeeping did as good a job as they could, with the time they are given to clean rooms. I believe when corners are cut, it's usually a result of pressure from management (the corporation) , not lazy workers. Most people want to do a good job.To me, a great hotel stay is function over fashion. This property has lots of parking, lots of stores and services nearby, and staff are friendly and attentive. The front desk called my room to ask if there were any issues, and offered to move me if I wasn't satisfied. This rarely happens even in $200 power night hotels anymore. The bathroom has a nice big counter to put your stuff on, instead of the tiny little pedestal sink in the tiniest little vanity at newer fancier propertiesOverall, no complaints.
I requested a kitchenette and was told that on my 2nd night one would be available. Upon checking in, they told me that I had a kitchenette now for both nights. I of course was pleased. Now the counter in the kitchen needed a good scrubbing, had to request some dish soap, other than that, very pleased.
Our room was very nice. Even though we were only there for an overnight visit the staff was very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was so good. A combination of hot and cold food. (Ei. Cereal, ham, eggs, hashbrowns, toast, muffins, yogurt, fruit, pancakes, waffles, coffee, juices and teas) Our child had so much fun at the pool even being on the small side because of the water slides. We will definitely be staying there again when we come back to visit family.
